About Our Village

Glenfield Grange is a self care independant living Retirement Village.  Whilst there are many points of difference between Glenfield Grange and other retirement facilities in Toowoomba the first and foremost factor is that this village is a Strata Titled one and not a leasehold operation. This means that the residents  actually own the dwelling they live in and most of the land around them.

The Village is managed by Toowoomba Retirement Services Pty Ltd ( TRS) which is a firm that was especially established for this purpose in 1991.The Managing Director of TRS was the Project Manager for the entire village during its construction and this provides stability, reliability and considerable knowledge from a residents viewpoint. This long term connection is an example of the care and attention that embraces this landscaped oasis set in one of the most majestic and desirable locations within the City of Toowoomba.

Glenfield Grange is large enough to be financially secure and yet small enough to be personal and caring. The design format is another feature with large amounts of open space complementing the large and varying individual dwellings which range over one two and three bedroom styles all focused around the community buildings in the very centre of the facility. Being Strata Titled and built on a staged basis, the opportunity was taken to design each stage differently using varying materials and colours schemes.

Conveniently located to a number of major shopping centres, restaurants, cafes and small boutique stores.  KMART, Coles, Aldi, Woolworths, Banks, Post Office and various Medical services all within 3 km of the Village.  With public transport at your front door all of this and much more is very easily accessible.
